I approach the mandates entrusted to me with passion and the highest level of commitment. Personally and independently. As an entrepreneur, I value trust and take responsibility. I stand by my word.

I bring more than three decades of experience in executive search and top-level management consulting. I spent more than 25 years at Egon Zehnder: as a partner, I was entrusted with solving challenging mandates as well as developing and managing large, global client relationships and leading global practice groups for more than 12 years. In early 2016, I founded my own office, reckhenrich advisors, in Munich. I have also been an independent entrepreneur since 1983 and run the Hotel Mauritzhof, a boutique hotel in Münster.

I am a qualified businessman and fully qualified lawyer. I studied law at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster and at the Universities of Lausanne and Geneva, and obtained my doctorate in Münster. Subsequently, I worked as a lawyer at the Higher Regional Court.

I perform my tasks with dedication. Contributing to the long-term success of my clients drives me.

As a trained lawyer, one of my tools is to bring about decision-making. As a mediator, I help to find workable solutions for conflicting positions. After more than 20 years of responsibility for the business of risk, I am aware that the consequences of one's own actions are considerable. In this context, decisions are often made under the greatest complexity. As a former member of the Munich Re Board of Management, I know how responsibility is lived in the interest of all stakeholders.

Decision-makers must concentrate on what is important, especially under pressure. Responsible entrepreneurship requires both diligence and determination. The interests of the owners, employees, customers and other economic and social concerns must be kept in mind and balanced. In the area of Board Advisory, I support clients in challenging decision-making and conflict situations. My goal is to find solutions that are both factually and personally sustainable. Along the way, clients can expect personal integrity as well as clarity of thought and language from me.

Personal interaction with my clients has defined my entire professional life to date. As a banker, business economist, tax advisor, auditor and CPA, personal commitment, integrity and independence for the benefit of the client are my guiding principles.

My experience in auditing and advising global banks, insurance companies, corporates and family businesses is based on my 35 years at KPMG, 27 of which as a partner. Living and working in Frankfurt, Munich, New York, Madrid, Toronto and Amsterdam and thus dealing with different cultures have shaped me.

When filling C-level and supervisory board positions in executive search, I provide support with my global network and contribute my many years of experience in assessing professional competencies.

In the area of Board Advisory, I advise boards of directors and supervisory boards on issues of corporate governance, cooperation within the board and between the supervisory board and the board of directors.

Talking to people gives me pleasure - and when I experience that the counselling triggers developments in the company and something new emerges.
